Hi!
We are working on incorporating FusionAuth into our stack. We are on a paid plan and have some questions about what requirements we must follow to run the solution in our airgapped setup.
We have been digging around the documentation sources on fusionauth.io and find some of the statements there confusing.
In the license FAQ it says:
I need to run my servers airgapped. How does licensing work in this scenario?
Since version 1.26, FusionAuth supports airgapped licensed deployments. You can install your license text in the administrative user interface or via the API. FusionAuth's advanced features will work without any internet access.
One limitation is the breached password feature. This relies on network access in order to retrieve the database, and so cannot be fully functional in an airgapped environment.
However, in the "Network Access" section on the System Requirements page is says:
If you are using a paid edition of FusionAuth, the instance must have outbound network connectivity for license id verification and metrics reporting. You must also allow access to enable advanced features provided by FusionAuth Reactor cloud services.
If you need specific hostnames to add to your network security or firewall safelist, please open a support ticket.
We are confused as to which is correct as the two statements seem contradictory to us?
We would appreciate any information you can provide so we can clear up the confusion on our end
Thanks!
