I created a few e-mail templates with customized content/styling. When I try to send test e-mails or select them as defaults in the configuration options, no e-mails are being sent.

Are there any prerequisites I am missing for sending e-mails with customized templates? Any know issues that commonly occur that I may be running into?

        Hiya,

Have you configured your SMTP server? Can you send a test email using the 'send test email' button on the "Tenants > Default Tenant > Email" section?

I often use mailcatcher for local development of emails, FWIW.

Yes, the default "Forgot password" e-mail sends fine both when sending a test e-mail, as well as when triggered via an auth flow.

Hmmm. Can you give a step by step list of one email template you're trying to send which is failing? There are, as far as I know, no general prereqs if the SMTP settings are correct.

            Thanks.

Resolved this by removing the sender address that I had defined in the template (must have caused some conflict).
