I received an email stating that my deployment is not currently registered appropriately... text below.
"We reviewed all our customers and noticed that your FusionAuth deployment is not currently registered appropriately. In order to support your team while staying in compliance with your license, we need you to register the license key."
I responded back since I have registered our license in Reactor and I have a green check mark, asking is it due to us using a non-production license now that we have active users. I'm guess this might be the case, but I could not get clarification from the Client Service Operations Specialist I was working with.
So I guess my question is; if we are to deactivate our non-prod license, then immediately activate our prod license, would we retain all of our current configurations, users, and permissions? The current UI has a decommission button, where as the documentation has a deactivating button. Since we are being hosted in FusionAuth, I do not want to lose any of our current settings since the word decommission sounds destructive.
https://fusionauth.io/docs/v1/tech/admin-guide/licensing states that
"However, deactivating your license does not remove configuration previously saved while the license was active. In the scenario above, if you were to activate a license, users and admins would immediately be able to access previously disabled functionality and the previous configuration would be active.”
I would just like confirmation before switching, if indeed I do need to switch.
